Parents,

Here’s just a couple of reminders for the end of the week. 

·         Please provide a baggie of money for your child by Monday.  We will have a “money museum” tour.  Label the bag with your child’s name.  Include a diverse collection of coins (no bills are necessary.)  Bags of money will be returned.

·         Book orders are open.  I will submit the order next Thursday, November 14.  Please consider ordering for your own child’s benefit, as well to help our classroom shelf grow.  If you desire to order books for Christmas and would like them kept a secret, please just let me know.  I’d be happy to be “Santa’s helper” for this project.

·         Movie night is next week.  See the badger beat for more information. 

·         Our LA theme test will begin Monday.  It will include various aspects from the yellow study guides such as proper nouns, making predications, basic information about plot (especially finding the problem of the passage), and all of the phonics skills laid out on the study guides. 

·         Our Reader’s Theater Café will be next Friday.  Student will be allowed to bring a snack/drink for café. 

·         Only two weeks until Thanksgiving break!  No school Nov. 27-Nov. 29.

·         Continue working on basic facts, coin identification, and AR goals.  Our new class goal for AR is to have 100% of our class meeting all three goals for each quarter!  The kids believe they may “make Mrs. Klaus’ head explode from awesomeness” if we do it!  Let’s go for it! J
